Blind Spot
Data Source:
Year:
Electronic sensing system exploring the relationship between environmental perception, human presence, and machine response.
BLIND SPOT is an electronic sensing system that continuously measures the light conditions of its environment. As visibility decreases, the device becomes progressively more perceptible through light and sound, while the presence of the viewer can alter its behavior by casting shadows, covering the sensor, or modifying what it perceives. The project reverses the conventional relationship between perception and visibility: the less the system can perceive, the more strongly it manifests itself.
